Welcome to the Chakra's

Have you heard of the Chakras's in Yoga before? They are based within the body and imagined as the interface between our physical body and the energy around us. They link the prana (breath) around the body and transporting the breath and energy. Now you may wonder where I am going with this...?

The idea of chakra energy derives from the ancient spiritual aspects of Yoga. Many of which are practiced today. There are number of schools of thought on where the chakra's and energy come from, and although I tend to focus from a scientific perspective I find it fascinating to look at the history of yoga and make links with our body and scientific knowledge we have today.

So take a look at the overview below, drop me a question if have any questions and maybe see you at a Chakra focussed Yoga class soon!
